Vice President
Lawyer, Graduate of Universidad Santa María. Entered in COASEGURO in 1978, wide experience in the design of insurance programmes for major industries and commercial groups, including negotiation of facultative reinsurance with international markets. Member of the Board of Directors of CAVECOSE – the Chamber of Venezuelan Insurance Brokers – for three terms.
Leon Benatar Shamis
Vice President
Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana. Entered in COASEGURO in 1979, wide experience in both Property and Casualty programmes as well as Employee Benefits, both risk-based or administered plans. Has been a member of the Board of Directors of CAVECOSE – the Chamber of Venezuelan Insurance Brokers – for two terms
Roger A. Milroy
Director
Chartered Insurance Broker, Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Specialist in insurances for the Energy and Natural Resources Sector, and for major Construction & Erection Projects. Founder of American Appraisal Associates of Milwaukee in Venezuela and one of the first TPA´s for Employee Benefits in the Venezuelan market. President & CEO of Excel Insurance Brokers and Aon Risk Services Venezuela, joined COASEGURO in 2012.
Selene Parra
Commercial Manager
Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration with Post Graduate degree in Publicity & Marketing, currently studying for a Master´s degree in Negotiations; TSU Insurance. Began in the insurance market in 1991, having wide experience in executive positions in a reinsurer, various insurers and now in insurance brokerage. Joined COASEGURO in 2011.
Bettina Verde
Senior Account Manager
TSU Insurance del Instituto Universitario de Seguros, wide experience in reinsurance since 1988 both in leading reinsurance brokers as well as in international reinsurers such as SwissRe and MunichRe, joined COASEGURO in 2015.
José Luis Guzmán
Claims Manager for P&C, Transport & Autos
More than 30 years of experience in the handling of Property, Casualty, Transport and Automobile claims, with active participation in meetings with clients, loss adjusters and insurers; also advising clients on measures designed to avoid a repetition of the causes of losses, loss histories and claims handling manuals.
